A short story about my grandfather and how two spouseless neighbors considered spending their remaining days together.
Why this Story? We love to tell personal stories. After watching the change my grandfather went through when he connected with Ruth I felt compelled to ask him questions; about his marriage, the life he has with my grandmother, dealing with loss and how he let himself move on.
They had to fall in love at the end of life. They had to allow themselves to do that. Ultimately no one would want a loved one to suffer out of guilt. It's okay to love again.
